SEATTLE – Clise Properties, a family-run Seattle real estate developer, has purchased 1700 7th Avenue, a Class A+ office tower in downtown Seattle.
The company initially developed the building and retained a controlling interest. The transaction brings Clise to full ownership.
Built in 2001, 1700 7th Avenue is a 24-story, 550,000 square foot office building with retail space at street level. Building amenities include a private rooftop terrace for 10th floor tenants, floor-to-ceiling windows, an on-site Starbucks coffee shop and UPS Store, and underground parking with a dedicated executive-level exit.
As sole proprietor, Clise Properties plans to upgrade the building’s amenities with a new fitness center, conference center, food operator, and updated outdoor patio and event space on the 10th floor. Additional upgrades will include a new, expanded bike shed with new changing rooms, showers, a drying room and electric vehicle charging stations.
Newmark’s Tim O’Keefe, Jesse Ottele and Cavan O’Keefe have been the property’s exclusive rental advisors since March 2021.
