NEW CANAAN, CT — The Taste of New Canaan Stroll, an annual event that helps the local food pantry, returns to town this week.

According to a press release, the event will take place Thursday from 5-8 p.m. and will consist of three different walking tours.

Participants can choose between The Taste Tour, which features signature bites from some of New Canaan’s best restaurants, Family Fiesta, a shorter, family-friendly walking tour, and a Wine Trail, allowing participants to visit restaurants and shopping and enjoying a summer drink.

Conceptualized and curated by Rock Paper Scissors Custom Events, over 250 strollers participated in the event last year. The 2021 event also raised more than $5,600 for the New Canaan Food Pantry, according to Rock Paper Scissors.

Sponsored by William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty, the launch party begins at 5 p.m. at the real estate company’s offices in New Canaan. Customers can pick up their pre-ordered wristbands and card, as well as enjoy live music from local artists Reese Sibery and Connor Flood.

There is a 2.5 hour window for customers to enjoy their self-guided tours. Registration is no later than 7:30 p.m. and the event ends at 8 p.m., according to Rock Paper Scissors.
