Taste Of New Canaan Stroll Returns To Downtown

NEW CANAAN, CT – The New Canaan Chamber of Commerce’s “Taste of New Canaan” walking event is scheduled to return on August 25 starting at 5:00 PM. to 19h

With the aim of welcoming families and visitors downtown, the event consists of three different walking tours, according to a press release. Conceptualized and organized by Rock Paper Scissors Custom Events, part of the net proceeds will go to the local pantry.

This fun event, sponsored by William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty, is a fantastic night out with family or friends. Check in for the launch party at the William Pitt offices from 5 p.m. to pick up the pre-ordered bracelets and cards, where local musician Nick Depuy will perform.

There is a 2.5 hour window for self-guided tours. Check-in is no later than 7:30 p.m., as the event ends at 8:00 p.m.

Taste Tour Tix (12 stops)

Visit New Canaan’s Best Restaurants and Sample: Spicy Late Summer Succotash, Street Tacos, Umami Meatballs, Cat Samosa, Sliders and more!

Family Fiesta Tix (6 stops)

Visit the kid-friendly spots of New Canaan and sample Fusilli al Pesto, sushi bites, custard cookies, milkshakes, ice cream sandwiches and more!

Route des Vins Tix (10 stops)

Visit a combination of shops and restaurants that will hand out delicious wine samples for this event. Customers 21 years of age or older purchasing Wine Route tickets must provide valid identification.

Tickets are limited and on sale now, so it’s recommended to buy in advance to avoid disappointment.

In addition to having fun, participants will support a good cause; all food will be provided at cost by Walter Stewart’s Market so that the pantry will receive the produce it really needs.
